Specialty Ingredients & Blends
ABSOLUTE Ingredients offers specialty ingredients, such as processing aids, and unique blends.
Our silicon-based antifoam product is based on Polydimethylsiloxane, a permitted processing aid under section 1.3.3 of the food standards code.
Antifoam is highly effective in reducing foaming and aeration in various foods systems, and can assist in producing a clear non-aerated product, subject to the interaction of other ingredients.

Please ensure that ingredients and their dose rates comply with current legislation.
Antifoam can be added at most stages of manufacture. Care should be taken to avoid excessive agitation and incorporation of air.
High levels of other ingredients, such as thickening agents, can result in air entrapment and foaming, and the recipe may need to be adjusted.
